Picking-up a Load

Save time by pulling directly onto our scale at 614 South 10th Street. The scale is directly across the street from our Business Office at 625 South 10th Street. The scale is next to the white building. You will need to pull on facing EAST.

Directions for easiest access to our scales:

  1. From Highway K-18 (Ft. Riley Blvd), turn south on South 11th Street.
  2. Proceed past Ferguson's Plumbing warehouse for 220 feet.
  3. Turn left and go east to the red mat scale. It's directly to the left (north) of the 614 South 10th Street white metal building (see map).
  4. Upon arrival on the scale, call our office at (785) 776-8352 or check-in at the Business Office across the street.

Our office team will then direct you to the appropriate dock for loading. If a load-out weight is required, you may simply drive back across the street to the scale. You do not have to be facing east for the load-out weight. Our warehouse personnel will work with you to get your weight correct and complete the loading process.

Delivering Freight

Directions for freight delivery:

  1. From Highway K-18 (Ft. Riley Blvd), turn south on 10th Street.
  2. You may park along the curb at 626 South 10th Street.
  3. Pull forward to the utility pole to avoid blocking access to our scale (see map).
  4. Upon arrival, please come to the Business Office across the street to check-in.

Depending upon what you are delivering, we will direct you to the appropriate dock for unloading. This will require that you either back up on 10th Street or continue south on South 10th Street across the railroad tracks and make a go-around on Pottawatomie Avenue to South Juliette and back up to Ft. Riley Blvd. Then come back to South 10th Street. Our warehousemen will guide you with this maneuver.
