Clan Wars Set up

this is to help set up clan batles, i hear all of these chalenges and no plans to act on it, i think we need to gather on one night for friendly chalenges, combine teams and do a 32v32 what ever we want to, the best day to do this is looking like monday the 16th since we have the day off and what a better thign to do then bring glory to your clan ,post your prostpective team/s and if possible who on here, post your plans on what games you want top play and who here, this will be the first of hopefully many, teams need to be 5 or more, prefferable 8,

do not spam this thread with "we could take you any time" junk, it is for "i challenge you all to war on the _______, my team will be there!" < that is what i want on here, dont spam us, escpesialy you emkill im watching out for you!

prefferable only have team leaders and clan presidents on this thread, but i dont mind

i dont think [DS] will be there, were pretty much the only monster clan, and i know matt wont cut us, plus 2 or 3 of us will be out of town, but were there 4 or 5 times a week, well set something up

not saturday the 14 cause it would be to hard for some people to get all there guys there and get the word out fast enough, plus that day monster will be doing tryouts for the positions meaning they wouldnt be able to play, i am rescedualeing it for this monday cause it wont be as crowded as a fridaynight in which it would be hard to get a computer, i did edit the earlier messages, so hows the new date sound? we would probably need to get there when the doors open to get a good long time playing and leaders would probably need to be there earlier to plan out what we will do, employees what time will you be opening this monday that we have off?, if the this dae isnt working our fallback is the folowing sunday

Monday won't really work for most people cause either work or school the next day causes cramps on time.

Suggestion: Saturday's are not busy. People have a huge misconception on this. It is dead when we open at 11:00AM

My vote: Clan war - Setup by the clan leaders - Saturday, January 21st, 11:00AM. I'm there at 10:00AM so I can register people early and what-not. Let's get something going, I'll PM Joe tonight. Good idea, lets do this.

Id say like 90% of the clans go to school meaning the earliest they get out is 12:00 meaning none of us can make it.

i am setting it up, we go on saturday feb 4th, clan leaders get there at 10am and teams at 11 when howies open, all games will be played if challenges are made, the whole point is to get every clan there and then to let the leaders of the clan's teams challenge, there will be more organization than that but, i do think we need to get howies to dedicate the servers cause otherwise it will lag on bf2, get every person you can get to show up, even if they suck, this is not a tourneyment and there are no prizes so far, any questions?

I have no AoEIII players - LOTR I'm down for, but I'll c if I have any AoEIII players. If we play a game like AoE where APM matters, i'll bring my mouse and rape you with 300 APM and I won't even know what I'm doing.

***For RTS Newbs - APM = Actions per Minute - It's how many things you can do in a minute such as build a building or attack something. Pros in Starcraft average 300 APM - i'm only semi-pro though and I hover around the 180-200 mark with bursts of 300 and such.

the whole point is to scrim with teams of players you normally dont get to play, it is a chance to improve, we also are going for braging rights, come if you want, but dont try and get people not to come

once again i say, IF YOU DONT WANT TO GO, THEN DONT!, i know many people have been interested with going, you dont have to say yes to a challenge, mix it up, play knives-pistols-defibs only, i dont know, the whole point is to get the all the clans there for a good time with out the competitive hatred of a tourney, my guys will be there and i wouldnt mind playing DS chances are we will lose but hey we could put up a good fight, we never faced you, it would be fun, it is about bragging rights (not that ds needs any more) but hey you can always play lotr, or aoeIII , we need aoeIII guys there because not many play and it is easy to learn, it was created because of the millions of "i challenge you" posts that always lead to nothing, ok, lets say youve challenged five teams, all will be there on one specific day, why would you not go (not directed at brian) but lots of people are going to be there as well as Kcjdude recording gameplay to put on the plasmas, how cool would it be to be p!ssing in the urinal and to look up and say "thats me noobtubeing the ***** out of everyone, (LN guy in stall grunts "right on!", jk)"

I dont think a non sponsored tourny thing will not work. Plus I dont think the clan wars thing will work either. Just in the sense that I see a couple teams start to get raped, than start team killing and than claiming "oh we werent really playing, we were messing around. We dont like that map." This whole thing is not going to work, too many immature ppl that were playing with. Just my .02
