oh considering in almost every bf2 map you have to have a vehicle to get around. but sf isnt that way, sf is the best tourny set up with the exception to the british

I like SF for tournements. I do wish that we didnt have to play the same map so many times, a new map for each round would be nice.

BF2 has many problems surrounding tank whoring, traveling, and balance. If you really get into SF you will see why it's a better game. The maps are a real big step forward from BF2.

I've played BF2 for about 5 hours total... after the 5 hours of gameplay (about 1 hour each for 5 times) even in 16 and 32 player maps... I was only killed by a non-vehicle twice. I've only killed 10 people outside of vehicles in BF2. Thats one death by non-vehicle every 2.5 hours and one non-vehicle kill every thirty minutes.

BF2 original isn't about vehicle whoring... I swear.

Whats so wrong with using vehicles thats one of the great things about this game if you dont like vehicles try counterstrike, and if you hate vehicles and regular bf2 why not practice?

its not the fact that i dont like vehicles but it really doenst take skill to get 50 kills in a tank. i mean if you get c4'ed than you spawn where the tank was and you go again. and the maps are kinda big between each flag, so if you do spawn and there is no jeep or buggy youre going to be running for awhile, thats some of the reasons i dont like it. its not so much skill oriented, just more vehicle.

i actually prefer playing online just to meet new people. i have this server that i go to its not the best... in a sence that its not the hardest but its fun... when its full thats when i join my friends at howies on a diff game...

To my opinion we should play the regular BF2 in the next tourney because SF is about tactics. The regular one is about skill because you cant use any teargas, NVG, ETC.

For me it doesnt really matter beause I am good at both, but I perfer the regular BF2.

there is no way that bf2 is about skill... metalfingers, myself and vicmarsal would go get 3 tanks on karkand, all be engineer roll side by side or just near each other and no one would touch us, we would just heal each other. and this was when we were ok at the game. i mean does that sound like skill to you?? i dont know what is wrong with you guys but og bf2 is sooo vehicle oriented, how can you say its not??

It takes skill to know when to use Teargas,NVG,etc. And the point of tournaments is tactics. Even if one team has better skill the team with the best plan of attack wins.
